International news:

  • European J/80 [Saint Cast - Le Guildo] (2-9/7/2022)
    Yes yes, Belgium is clearly going to the European     J/80 ! We are currently represented by a nice group of 5 boats, Whohooo! 😎

Program:

  • Saturday 2nd July

    • From 9:00 to 20:00 : welcome, craning, registration, crew weighing, boat & equipment control.

  • Sunday 3th July

    • From 9:00 to 12:00 : welcome, craning, registration, crew weighing, boat & equipment control.

    • 15:00 : practice race.

    • After the race of the day, nautical parade and crew presentation.

    • Opening ceremony. Introduction of each National Class by its President.

  • Monday 4th July - Thursday 7th July

    • skippers’ briefing, races to follow.

    • Prize ceremony.

  • Friday 8th July

    • 11:00 : skippers’ briefing, races to follow, no warning signal after 16:00.

    • Prize ceremony.

    • 20:00 : crew dinner, Closing and award ceremony of the European Championship.

  • Saturday 9th July

    • 8:00 : start of the lifting of the boats.

Local news:

  • Training 1 last Sunday (15/5) was a big success, thanks a lot to Jacques Lemaire for all very useful exercises and the valuable feedback afterwards during the debriefing !
    Did you miss this nice event, a pity..., but you have second chance upcoming weekend during our     Training 2 (22/5) 😀:

    • What? We will train our starts, maneuvering around the buoys, upwind-downwind loops, etc (participation €20/boat)

    • Briefing 9h30 @ VYN Pyramid

    • Training on the water from 11h till 15h30 @ wave measurement buoy

    • Debriefing 17h @VYN Pyramid

  • Flanders Trophy 1 & 2 (11-12/6/22) - YCMN - Dunkirk [FR]
